Sergio Santos scored his first goal of the season to lift FC Cincinnati to a 1-0 win over the New England Revolution, as the defense collected its third clean sheet in MLS play despite several notable absences. Injuries took a toll on the lineup, which had four to five starters out due to injuries, but players like Brian Anunga, Brad Smith, Corey Baird and Lukas Engel stepped up to fill those roles.
