FC Cincinnati general manager Chris Albright said the club was trying to get a couple other things done before the transfer window closed Thursday, but ultimately decided the potential reward wasn’t worth the risk. FCC capped the window with the signing of top center back target Matt Miazga on a free transfer from Chelsea, and Albright said it was a good way to finish a pretty decent window as he continues to try to turn over the roster and salary cap situation.
