FC Cincinnati dominated the top team in the Eastern Conference with a 3-1 win over Philadelphia Union on Saturday at TQL Stadium.

Brenner had a goal disallowed in the first half because of a handball while he dove into a header, but he scored in the second half as the Orange and Blue took a 3-0 lead with goals from Brandon Vazquez and Alvaro Barreal as well and two assists from Luciano Acosta.

It was quite the sendoff for veteran midfielder Haris Medunjanin, who came in off the bench in the 84th minute for his final match with FCC before leaving for PEC Zwolle to be closer to family in Europe. The former Union player was recognized before the match, which also saw the introduction of new center back Matt Miazga at halftime.
